The 2025 AIFOD Vienna Summer Summit, held on 17–19 July at the United Nations Office in Vienna, focused on a key question: how can we invest in artificial intelligence fairly and responsibly?

KKG Legal was represented at the conference by Dominik Gałkowski (co-managing partner), Paweł Sikora (Warsaw office managing partner), and Grzegorz Pobożniak (partner). The event focused on the challenges of investing in AI in developing countries and on the broader global implications of emerging technologies.

On the first day, during the "INVEST IN AI For Justice" panel, Dominik Gałkowski served as co-host, while Paweł Sikora joined as a panelist. The discussion extended beyond the financial aspects of AI development, highlighting the importance of investing in natural resources, data and human dignity – where technology is only one part of a much larger ecosystem.

On the third day, Grzegorz Pobożniak delivered a keynote speech titled "Legal Innovation as the Third Path: Navigating AI Governance Between Regulation and Innovation", in which he emphasized the need for balanced solutions between rigid regulation and dynamic technological advancement.

The AIFOD Vienna Summer Summit offered a valuable opportunity not only to engage with leaders from the financial and public sectors, but also to contribute meaningfully to the global conversation on the future of responsible artificial intelligence.

We would like to thank the organizers of the AIFOD Vienna Summer Summit for the invitation and the opportunity to engage in such a timely and thought-provoking dialogue.
