The 14th Polish Congress on Personal Data Law, organized by Must Read Media Publishing House, began last Tuesday and lasted for three days, packed with practical knowledge, the latest interpretations, and discussions with experienced data protection law experts.
The program, covering as many as 19 issues, included:
- consent for data processing - an overview of recent case law and current interpretations,
- forbidden AI practices using the example of systems used to draw inferences about employees' emotions,
- criteria for recognition as a "trusted entity" in light of the European Data Protection Board and Personal Data Protection Office guidelines.
On the second day of the Congress, Grzegorz Pobozniak, partner at KKG Legal, discussed the most important findings and case law on damages resulting from GDPR violations.
