From February 8–12, Kamil Zawicki, attorney-at-law, co-managing partner at KKG Legal, attended the IADC 2026 Midyear Meeting in New Orleans — one of the key events organized by the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
The four-day event brought together trial lawyers and experts from around the world, offering an intensive program of content-rich sessions, including educational sessions, panel discussions, and keynote addresses. The event provided a forum for an in-depth exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as for building professional relationships within the international legal community.
A key element of the meeting was the “Thinking IADC First” concept, which reflects a philosophy based on trust, cooperation, and the highest professional standards. This concept underscores the importance of a global network of litigation attorneys who, regardless of jurisdiction, combine expertise with a strong professional ethic and a willingness to collaborate.
As part of the event, Kamil Zawicki also participated in networking activities, including meetings organized by the Energy and Environmental Committee, as well as social events held in conjunction with the conference.
In addition, Kamil Zawicki participated in the recording of an episode of the “IADC Speaks” podcast, alongside representatives of the international legal community. The conversation focused on the key takeaways from this year’s meeting, its unique atmosphere, and its significance for legal practice.
A recording of the conversation is available at the link.
Participation in the IADC 2026 Midyear Meeting marks another step in KKG Legal’s active involvement in international legal initiatives and reaffirms the firm’s presence in the global community of experts in the field of disputes and litigation.
