Law students of the Faculty of Law at SWPS University in Warsaw played the roles of litigants, and experienced legal advisors played the roles of judges - this was the simulated court hearing that took place as part of the "Legal Counsel at Your University" Academic Week.
The judges included Koleta Czapiewska, senior associate at KKG Legal, as well as Joanna Kisielińska-Garncarek, PhD (GESSEL Attorneys at law) and Piotr Białach (Dentons).
The meeting, organized by the National Chamber of Legal Counsels and the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw, gave students not only a foretaste of courtroom realities, but also a chance to talk about:
- legal counsel's career paths,
- challenges during the traineeship,
- the benefits of membership in the "blue" legal community.
During the meeting, practitioners shared their experience and answered questions from future lawyers, from those about education, to daily challenges, to satisfaction with the profession.
