Kamil Zawicki, attorney at law, managing partner at KKG Legal, attended the IADC Annual Meeting 2026 in Prague—one of the leading international gatherings of lawyers specializing in litigation, arbitration, corporate liability, and risk management.
As part of the event, he participated in a panel discussion titled “Mitigating Litigation Risks in an Ever-Changing International Environmental Regulatory Climate,” which focused on the legal risks arising from the evolving regulatory environment in the areas of environmental protection, ESG, and sustainability reporting.
The discussion focused on the question of whether deregulation actually means less risk for businesses. As international practice shows—not always. Changes in environmental regulations, the evolution of ESG standards, and growing expectations of businesses are creating an increasingly complex landscape of compliance and litigation risks, particularly for companies operating in multiple jurisdictions.
The panel, alongside Kamil Zawicki, featured experts from the United States and other jurisdictions: Mark Clark, Joel Eagle, John Guttmann, and Dr. Döne Yalçın.
This year’s IADC Annual Meeting took place in Prague from July 4–9, bringing together lawyers from around the world to discuss topics related to corporate liability, international disputes, regulation, and risk management.
